In addition to providing specialist legal advice from experienced Solicitors, Ridgemont also provides training on important construction law topics, for example:

• Adjudication of construction disputes
• Building Safety Act 2022
• Payment for construction works
• Methods of procurement and the different standard form construction contracts

That way our clients and contacts become more knowledgeable, which helps them to spend less on legal fees in the future, but when they do engage with lawyers, they do so knowing more about the things that are referred to by their lawyers. The construction sector today is one that faces considerable challenges and so it will always be beneficial for those that operate in that sector, to increase their knowledge of the law and practice most relevant to those challenges.

We understand that every business is unique and so training needs are rarely the same. Therefore we tailor our training according to the requirements of each business as far as possible. We also work to the different financial budgets that businesses have for training.

It is true to say that our training tends to be directed to the senior end of a client’s workforce, i.e. managers and directors.

We offer training both in person and remotely via Teams and Zoom etc.

Typically a half day’s training costs £1200-£1500 + vat and a full day’s training costs around £2,500 + VAT.
